The person doing the logging and the person being logged are often not the same. A toddler cannot tell you when the fever started. A parent with a long medication list may not remember which tablet changed in spring. Someone usually ends up holding all of that in their head. Sayved lets that person keep it in a record instead.
What is a family health tracker app?
It is a health log with a separate section for each person you look after. In Sayved, each person is a profile with its own private log. You add yourself, a partner, a child, a parent, and capture entries for whichever one you are in. The capture itself is the same for everyone: say it, snap it, or type it, and Sayved files it.
Because the app logs more than food, a profile can hold meals, medicines, symptoms, sleep, vitals, a mood note, a lab result photo, or a growth measurement. Nobody has to learn a different tool for the child and the grandparent.
How do separate profiles keep each log private?
Each profile is a separate database file on the phone. It is not a shared table with a “who is this for” tag on every row. That choice is deliberate. With tags, one missed filter could put a child’s medication history into an adult’s report. With separate files, there is nothing to filter, so nothing can cross.
Practically, this means Ask, History, charts and the doctor report all draw only on the profile you are in. If you ask “when did she last have antibiotics?”, only that person’s entries are considered. Photos are kept per profile as well. Your own log, the owner’s, stays exactly where it was before you added anyone, so adding family never moves or rewrites existing data.
How do I track my kids’ and parents’ health in one app?
Add each person under Settings, Family, then use the switcher at the top of the screen. A few everyday situations:
- A sick child at night. “Temperature 39.1, gave paracetamol syrup 5 ml at ten.” You have a record the doctor can read in the morning, with times that you would otherwise guess.
- A parent’s medication list. Add each medicine once as a saved routine, so a daily tablet is one tap to log or skip, without typing.
- A partner after surgery. Photograph the letter or lab result, and pages are saved as one entry.
- Food reactions. Log what a child ate and when a rash appeared, then ask later what they had in the day before.
The child health log and caring for an elderly parent pages work through those two situations in more detail.
Does one subscription cover the whole household?
Yes. Sayved Pro is 14 days free, then $2.99 a month, per device, and every profile on that device is included. The limits on AI reading are also per device, so a household shares one allowance. That is why the app caps a device at six profiles and does not charge per person: the idea is that the price of keeping your family’s records should not rise with the number of people in it.
If you stop paying, nothing is lost. Everything already logged for everyone stays readable, searchable, chartable and exportable, free, forever, and typed entries keep working. See pricing.
Can reminders be set for each person?
Yes, and they are opt-in and off by default. Reminders are stored per profile, so the school-morning medicine reminder for your son is distinct from the one for your mother. They fire on your phone, in your own words and at times you choose. They are silent if the entry has already been logged, and they never say “you missed” or scold. Sayved has no streaks, scores or goals, for children or for adults.
What is different for children?
The things that matter for children are handled with care. If you set up the optional energy baseline for someone under 18, Sayved uses the WHO/FAO Schofield equation, since adult formulas materially underestimate children. A saved weight is never overwritten: changing a weight adds a new dated row, so the list of weights becomes a growth record. The app makes no judgement about the numbers.
Sayved is not a paediatric tool and does not advise on doses or growth. It records what you tell it. For decisions, talk to a clinician, and see the medical disclaimer.
How does it help at the appointment?
From any profile you can build a doctor visit report: one person, one condition or everything, for a month up to all time. If a child has had recurring ear infections, a report for that condition shows the dates, the medicines and what you wrote at the time, in order. You can also ask the log directly, as covered in ask your health history.
Where does the data live?
On your phone. There is no account, and Sayved does not ask for anyone’s name beyond the label you give a profile on your own device. When you capture by voice or photo, text or a downscaled image goes to an AI model with no name, email or account attached, and nothing is kept on Sayved’s servers. Audio is never uploaded. The privacy page has the detail.
